Feedback: name: Mark Brewis Involvement: Cotgrave Parent : it was a freezing day out there for the boys with only Ian Bartle and myself braving the north atlantic chill in the middle of december in our shorts (if only all the parents would back our boys in the same manner). The game started at a frantic pace with cotgrave laying siege to the west bridgford goal. Despite all their efforts they failed to score leaving the half time result 0-0. The second half started like the first but this time a great strike on the volley from Jake Berry put Cotgrave into the lead. This was short lived when a back pass gifted Bridgford an indirect free kick inside the box where they duelly finished in clinical fashion. No further goals were scored and the game finished in a 1-1 draw. (Leaving Bartle and Myself to go and defrost). |
