How did we lose that game? We should definitely have had something from that game. At half-time we felt as though we should have done more with the wind behind us, but second half we really moved up a gear. Lots of good performances today, we just didn't have that cutting edge to finish off the chances created. At half-time John promised to buy the lads chips and sausage at training if they won. Not sure whether Arsene Wenger will pick up on this, but it certainly done the trick. Rumours that the team is to be sponsored by McCains next season have been denied. Well done lads!! |
Feedback: name: Richard Randall Involvement: Cotgrave Parent A game that was there for the taking but we did not use the wind to our advantage in the first half we kept over kicking the ball. The second half we saw a different side we managed to pass the ball to feet more and began to run with the ball and take players on this was looking better as time went on and it was only a matter of time before we managed to put one in the back of the net, but once again the post moved or a worm jumped up and headed the ball onto the post. Much better football you did deserve your sausage and chips but hey we still have a few games left it could make it's way up to fish and chips if you do it before the end of the season. Well done to all today a better game all round. |
