       Cotgrave hosted a strong Calverton squad for this return fixture, an improved performance was necessary today for cotgrave to retain their position. With the pitch in good condition today provided the opportunity for Cotgrave to demonstrate their strength under pressure.
       Early on in the first half Cotgrave won a corner taken by Harry resulting in a near miss from Jacob, Calverton responded with pressure going forward to an attempt at goal which was stopped with an excellent save from Adam.

With Luke strong in defence great efforts from James, Liam and Jordan were made at goal.Calvertons' keeper was kept busy and made an excellent save from a super Jordan cross shot. Sub Kieran came on for Liam and together with Harry the pressure near goal was kept on.

A few changes were made during the second half but the pace of play remained the same. A penalty was given after Harry was brought down in the box,Jordan took the spot kick but their keeper yet again made a brilliant save denying Cotgrave a goal.
       Subs Ben and Clarke came on for Luke and Kieran to apply extra pressure in defence. The lads worked hard together but Harry seemed to take them on single handed to score a blinding goal. Pressure was kept up right to the end with Luke H only getting what seemed like a few seconds of play.

After an equally matched game the full time score was 1-0. All the lads played their legs off but Harrison got man of the match.
