Cotgrave today away at hucknall needing an all important win at this stage of the season. Another great turnout from the parents on a lovely sunny Sunday morning.

Cotgrave kick off and immediately start the game with good strong positive play and  launch into an attack, which leads to a goal kick to Hucknall. Harrison gets the ball from the goal kick and puts the Hucknall defence to work. Kieran has the ball in which he crosses to James on the left, who shoots with the ball just going wide of the goal. Hucknall get the ball and attack ending with a corner to them. This goes out and Cotgrave get a goal kick.

Hucknall then get the ball again, this time shooting at goal only to be saved by Adam. A Hucknall throw enables them to have another shot this time going wide. Adam then has another goal kick, this time being picked up by Harrison who runs up passing to Kieran who neatly kicks the ball into the back of the net. 1-0

The game is now going at a good pace with both teams well into it. Harry again gets the ball and has a great run getting passed Hucknall's defence again passing to Kieran who shoots and makes it 2-0. Hucknall come back putting Jacob and Luke.S to work in defence taking a shot with Adam again having a great save. The game goes on with Cotgrave having a corner with Jordan taking this, James gets a touch with the ball going in the net 3-0.  Cotgrave again attack with Harrison having a Good attempt. Hucknall keep coming back though with Jacob and Luke.S doing some great defending.

HALF-TIME: HUCKNALL 0  COTGRAVE 3 

Hucknall kick off making our defenders work hard. Cotgrave push up the field and move in for another go this time being stopped by Hucknall's defender's.Cotgrave get a corner with Harrison getting the ball to Jordan only to go wide. Cotgrave get another corner this time Jordan reaching Kieran only to be saved on the line by a Hucknall defender. James, Jordan and Harrison working hard up front putting Hucknall under a lot of pressure. Carl now makes a Sub with James off and Liam coming on immediately getting into the game. Hucknall are now attacking and putting Luke.S  to work with some good defending. More Subs with Clarke coming on Kieran off and Ben on replacing Jacob. Cotgrave again up the game with Clarke and Ben getting stuck into play. Cotgrave move in again this time Harrison finding the back of the net 4-0. Another Sub with Jordan coming off and Luke.H coming on. Cotgrave playing well with Luke.H having a shot just going wide. Hucknall still going though with another shot going wide fighting on all the way.

Well done to Hucknall today who I thought played with good determination and didn't give in.
